How long have you been a nurse?
I have been a Registered Nurse for 4.5 years and bring over 15 years of comprehensive experience in the healthcare field. My career began immediately after high school as a caregiver, CNA, and Med Tech, and I spent a decade building a strong clinical foundation. I later earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. I began my nursing career in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit before transitioning into travel nursing to further expand my clinical competencies and adapt to diverse healthcare environments.
What expertise and experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?
As I near completion of my Master of Science in Nursing with a Nurse Executive focus, I bring a well-rounded blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and operational insight to BrightStar Care.
My background includes direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experience in both acute and home care settings. I am deeply committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and I possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills that support both patient outcomes and team efficiency. I approach every challenge with a solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine dedication to patient advocacy and support.
What part of your job are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about being a trusted resource for patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Whether it's conducting in-home assessments, administering medications, or delivering infusion therapy, I find great purpose in providing personalized, patient-centered care. Knowing that my presence can bring comfort, clarity, and improved quality of life to those I serve is what continues to drive and inspire my work in nursing.
