Claire H. Woodsum is at the heart of BrightStar Care, serving as the Co-Owner and Client Care Coordinator. With a diverse background spanning teaching, counseling, marketing, and business, Claire co-founded the Foreside Company before embarking on her journey with BrightStar. She holds a degree in Psychology from Bowdoin College. Claire's decision to join BrightStar Care was fueled by her unwavering desire to make a profound impact on people's lives. Aram holds the position of Director of Client Care at BrightStar Care, leveraging his extensive expertise in marketing relations, public speaking, and healthcare business development. Cecilia serves as our Associate Director of Nursing , bringing a wealth of experience to her role. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BSN in 2015 and has since worked in a range of specialties, including ICU, Med/Tele, Chemical Dependency, Behavioral Health, and more. Her unique strengths include a heightened sensitivity to the nuances of emotion and thoughts of others, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a deep compassion for patients. Cecilia's commitment to easing patients' fears and making them feel comfortable during their care journey defines her approach to nursing.

Rachel embarked on her educational journey at Biola University, majoring in Studio Art. Two decades later, she returned to school at National University to pursue studies in Organizational Leadership, ultimately earning a BS. In her professional life, Rachel's path has been remarkably diverse, encompassing roles in teaching, creative design, promotional marketing, sales, caregiving, and volunteer work. She skillfully integrates this wealth of experience into her current position as our Marketing Manager. Rachel's compassionate nature, cultivated through her upbringing in a military family and extensive travel, drives her work, enabling her to connect empathetically with individuals from all walks of life. Beyond her career, Rachel's nurturing spirit extends to caring for her four daughters, underscoring her commitment to fostering meaningful connections with others.

Babli Duttasarma, our dedicated Client Care Manager, embarked on her professional journey in the world of banking before making a significant transition to the home health care field back in 1995 with All Care Services. Her career continued to advance as she joined ResCare, ultimately earning the esteemed position of Branch Manager. Since 2015, Babli has been an integral part of BrightStar Care, where she excels in her role, efficiently overseeing client services and scheduling. Her knack for forging meaningful personal relationships extends to both clients and caregivers, fostering a sense of trust and care within the BrightStar community. Beyond her professional pursuits, Babli actively embraces a healthy lifestyle through activities such as Zumba and Pilates, exemplifying her dedication to well-being. She also generously dedicates her free time to volunteering at a The Association of Vineyard Churches. However, the moments she cherishes most are those spent with her beloved family, including her two daughters, Mithia and Katja, and her three cherished granddaughters, Annika, Sophia, and Maya.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science and Criminology, Law and Society from The University of California, Irvine, she combines her academic background with a pre-med path. Since joining in September 2021, Michaela has excelled in managing home health care, ensuring that each client receives the right care tailored to their unique needs. Her compassionate and holistic approach significantly benefits clients facing various challenges, from recent hospital discharges to terminal diagnoses.
