Yes, we have registered nurse (RN) oversight at our Southwest Atlanta home care agency. Our Director of Nursing provides clinical guidance and supervision for all caregivers and nurses on our care team, ensuring that they get real-time feedback on client care plans and have support with change-in-condition monitoring.
Typically, our caregivers and nurses work with one or more home care clients each week. We strive to keep our caseloads low so that you have plenty of time to build meaningful relationships with your clients. We also work hard to provide dependable hours and good work-life balance so that you get the career flexibility you need.
You do not need to be licensed to work as a non-medical caregiver with BrightStar Care of Southwest Atlanta / College Park. However, personal care providers, such as certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs), may be required to have additional training. We also require all employees to pass a background check, have current CPR certification, and complete a tuberculosis (TB) test.
