Colleen Ryan - RN
OwnerColleen is the owner for BrightStar Care of the Main Line. Colleen is a Temple graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Colleen attended Harcum College, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She has been a nurse for 13 years in the hospital setting and outpatient procedure unit. Colleen is also an entrepreneur, with 8 years of management experience with rental properties. Colleen is a mother of 4 children. In her free time, she enjoys running, yoga, jumping rope, and trampoline. She loves music and nature. Colleen enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to vacation in Ocean City, NJ as well as trips to the Poconos. -
Dan Ryan - RN, VP
Business DeveloperDan is the VP business developer for Bright Star Care of the Main Line. Dan graduated West Chester University with a psychology degree. Dan then attended Harcum College and graduated with an associate degree in Nursing. He has managerial experience with residential rental properties, and real estate sales experience in PA, DE, MD, and NJ. Dan has 10 years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting. Dan also has senior living home care and hospice experience. -
Tiffany Kotulka
Human Resources ManagerTiffany currently supports BrightStar Care of the Main Line as a part-time Human Resources/Admin Assistant. With more than 10 years of public relations, events planning, non-profit management, and administrative talents, including the ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously, Tiffany is an asset to the BrightStar Care team. Tiffany attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!) and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Middle Tennessee State University. She is good at wearing multiple hats, responding quickly to the task at hand while maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. In addition to providing support to the BrightStar Care – TheMainLine team, Tiffany assists in recruiting non-skilled caregivers and prospective clients. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering and gardening. -
Jean Scaramuzza - RN
Director of NursingJean is the director of nursing at BrightStar Care of the Main Line. Jean is 38 years old with 19 years of Pediatric ICU experience. She is now transitioning into the adult home care setting. Recently, Jean obtained her BSN from Drexel University. She loves interacting with patients from all ages, and has some experience in home care due to my son needing skilled nursing for 2 years in her home. Jean enjoys running, playing soccer, shopping, spending time with her family, and cooking! For fun, she loves spending time outdoors - especially when the weather is warm. Jodie Miller
Sales Manager and Lactation ConsultantJodie is the sales manager and lactation consultant of BrightStar Care of the Main Line. Jodie has been a nurse for more than 18 years. She worked most of her career with children and lactating women. Her passion has been working with breastfeeding women and helping moms meet their breastfeeding goals. Due to changing circumstances in my personal journey, Jodie has changed paths to now focus on adult care which has led me to BrightStar. Jodie maintains a positive attitude and energetic spirit in the BrightStar community. In her spare time she is raising 5 children ranging in ages from 7 to 17 in the Harleysville area. She considers this her most rewarding achievement, but also considers it to be extremely challenging as well. Running is my chosen outlet to center herself. Her outgoing personality and her love of people is where she thrives the most and she is looking forward to serving her community with BrightStar Care of The Main Line. Jill Smith
Client Services ManagerJill Smith is responsible for recruiting caregivers for BrightStar Care of the Mainline. She prospects, interviews, and hires new caregivers for our location. She helps them through the onboarding process by assisting them with completing documentation and acquiring all the certificates and tests required. She is passionate about finding the best caregivers for our clients. She attended Penn State University-Abington where she studied corporate communications. Jill is a mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family hanging by the pool and cheering them on at their games. She loves the beach, cooking, and working out at Orangetheory Fitness. -
Christie Nguyen
Client Services ManagerChristie is the Client Services Manager at BrightStar Care of the Main Line. She handles scheduling tasks and commits her time in the office to taking care of BrightStar Care of the Main Line’s staff in the field and managing the care of clients. She has worked in the home health care field for many years. She began working in the field as a CNA who worked with a wide variety of people including mentally challenged children and adults with dementia. From there she decided to move into the business/coordination-services aspect of home health care to help clients ensure they receive the best care possible. Cristie currently lives in the Philadelphia area where she is raising two children, ages 4 and 12, with her husband. In her free time, Christie enjoys traveling with her family, playing flag football, and managing an all women's flag football travel team. -
Janeen Kee
Assistant Director of NursingJaneen is the assistant Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care of the Main Line. She is 40 years old with 15 years of Pediatric ICU experience. She continues to provide direct patient care while also beginning her new role as ADON. Janeen received her BSN from Drexel University in Philadelphia and also received a BS in Kinesiology from Penn State University. She loves bedside nursing and providing care for the whole family. Janeen enjoys exercising and gardening. She loves spending time with her family at their favorite place, Sea Isle City! -
Jack Kraynak
IT Specialist / Marketing ManagerJack is the IT specialist and the marketing manager of BrightStar Care of the Main Line. Jack is currently a rising Junior in the Temple University Honors College as a Bioengineering major. Additionally, he is a resident assistant at Temple and has recently accepted a position tutoring through the Leadership and Career Studies program at Temple. He currently works at The Jefferson Hospital Health Design Lab where he is doing bioprinting research. Jack is the oldest of six kids and grew up in Lansdale, PA. He enjoys playing basketball and photography.
