What does BrightStar Care® of West Ventura County do?
We offer high-quality home care services for children, adults, and seniors throughout West Ventura County, CA. This includes skilled nursing care, personal care, companion care, and transitional care after a hospital stay. We can also support specialized care needs for those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, chronic health conditions, and disabilities.
In addition, all of our home care plans are created and overseen by a registered nurse (RN), who ensures that each client receives a customized plan with change-in-condition monitoring.
What are your hiring practices for nurses and caregivers?
All caregivers and nurses are required to be properly trained, certified, and/or licensed per California state law. We also require all of our employees to pass a background check and drug screen, complete a tuberculosis (TB) test, and have current CPR certification.
Is there RN oversight at BrightStar Care® of West Ventura County?
Yes, RN oversight is an essential element of our in-home care model. Our Director of Nursing supervises our local care team and guides all client care plans, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care they can trust.
