I have worked as pediatric home care RN the majority of my nursing career. I can honestly say that BrightStar Care offers something unique. Everyone, including the owners, clinic personnel, and office staff, work tirelessly to make sure nurses and caregivers feel valued and appreciated. My manager (Leigh) and care coordinators (Katie/ Jess) are always excited and available. Whether I need help on a case or just want to chat, they are always there for me. This is more than just patient care… this IS the BrightStar difference!!!

Her care was not only thorough and professional, but also profoundly relational. She truly understood him, connected with him, and brought a sense of warmth and dignity into our home that made a lasting impact. The bond she formed with our family was remarkable—even my husband would sing a little tune, “Nana Nana,” just to remember her name. My only constructive criticism is directed toward BrightStar: on two separate occasions, they called me just before Nana was scheduled to arrive and asked to reassign her elsewhere for the day. At the time, we were enrolled in the Guide Program, and Nana was already contracted to provide services to us. Those moments felt dismissive of the consistency and trust we had built with her—and of the structure we rely on to keep my husband safe and supported. Despite that disruption, Nana still arrived at her appointed time. Her dedication never wavered. She showed up with grace, reliability, and heart—qualities that made all the difference in our daily lives. Nana’s example continues to guide me as I advocate for care that is not only competent, but deeply human—care that honors the spirit of consistency, compassion, and connection. Because when care is rooted in relationship, it doesn’t just meet needs—it transforms lives. And Nana’s care did exactly that: she transformed ours.
