Rampi Hijazin | Owner/Agency Director
As the owner and agency director, Rampi knows and understands the importance of provide top notch customer service and compassionate care to clients, families and business professionals in the community. She recognizes the need for leadership and support for her team and is responsible for the overall operations of the business. Rampi also works closely with individuals in the community and families to help find solutions for their needs.
Rampi has over 20+ years of experience in the senior living industry with her specialty in Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Rampi’s experience in senior living previously was primarily focused in Independent Living, Licensed Assisted Living and Dementia Care residences with her most recent efforts in the home care arena. Starting her career providing caregiving services at the age of 18 while attending college. She has worked her through the organization, learning operations from the ground up. Rampi has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University as well as a Masters of Science in Business Information Technology from Walsh College. Rampi has also attended the Erickson School on Aging Studies’ Executive Education Program with a concentration on Business & Strategy in Senior Housing and Care, Sales & Marketing, Management & Operations and Finance in Senior Housing and Care. She also has her Assisted Living Administrators License for the State of North Carolina. Rampi has also been actively involved with the Alzheimer’s Association‘s Michigan and Western Carolina Chapters, the Michigan Assisted Living Association and the North Carolina Assisted Living Associations, and the Nation Private Duty Association for the last few years. Rampi has enjoyed helping provide quality home care services in the Charlotte area to families and healthcare professionals. Rampi is currently on the only Dementia Dialogues Trainer in Charlotte, competencied through the University of South Carolina School on Aging. She also volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association monthly running a local support group for families.
Lou Hijazin | Director of Operations
Witnessing Rampi’s efforts in the senior living industry for years and also hearing the many stories his own mother shared about her caregiving experiences over the years, gave Lou a new respect for individuals working in the healthcare field. With 15+ years as a small business owner, he knows what it takes to run a good business and the importance of providing good and timely customer service to clients. When the opportunity arose to become a part of BrightStar as the Director of Operations, Lou knew this was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up and eagerly looked forward to the challenges that would come with working in this new industry. He enjoys most being able to help families find a solution to their problems and knowing that the BrightStar team all gave 120% and have the same mission/goals for those that we serve.

I am alumni from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Go Niners) where I obtained a Bachelors in Health Communications with a minor in Interdisciplinary Health Studies. Most of my career has been in recruiting and sales with an ambitious focus in financial management. Recruiting to me is defined as getting to know an individual’s personality and career inspirations, knowing these ambitions creates teamwork towards realistic goals. Also, I am a big fan of numbers which drives my motivation toward finance, mainly because numbers are a universal language. Healthcare is my primary passion, I have always admired healthcare professionals who can provide the highest standard of compassionate care. My career path with BrightStar Care is to ensure I create the best team possible for growth and individual care for families and loved ones. When I’m not crunching numbers or getting to know my new “BrightStar”s I can be found cycling. However, I am also a football junkie so if it’s on, I will most likely be eating pizza in front of the television rooting for the Panthers!!
Kristen O., BSN, RN | Director of Nursing
Kristen joins our team with years of experience in different areas of nursing which includes but is not limited skilled nursing facilities, hospital, and home health. She enjoys working with clients who are pediatric, adults and seniors. Kristen got into the healthcare field, especially home care/home health because she enjoys helping others and is a people person. She found in the hospital and facility setting, she couldn’t have 1-on-1 time with those she assisted. One of the biggest things for her was getting to know her clients on a personal level. She feels to be good at what you do requires continually improving your knowledge and skills. She believes that dedication, dependability, determination and desire are traits necessary to be a good nurse and supervisor. Kristen is all about providing quality care and not over promising and under delivering services. Kristen completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Penn State University. For fun Kristen loves to spend time with her two puppies Roxie and Cassie as well as partaking in yoga and any other outdoor activity. Did I mention that Kristen is a huge Philadelphia Flyers fan?
Jenna L. | Customer Care Manager
Jenna is a recent resident of NC who relocated to NC from PA. Jenna got into the healthcare industry because of her mother’s hard work and dedication working in the healthcare industry. Jenna has previous healthcare experience working for therapy center providing physical and occupational therapy services. Communication and team work is very important to Jenna and she feels it helps all processes when we work together. Jenna is dedication to quality service and follow up with our clients/team to make sure we provide a higher standard of care to our clients/team. She enjoys working in the healthcare field because she loves helping/talking with others. In her free time, Jenna enjoys running, cooking, is a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan and spending time with her family and friends.
Kelli L. | Customer Care Manager
Kelli joins our team from a sister BrightStar Office in Colorado. She got into the healthcare field due to becoming a caregiver to help take care of her own mother who had cervical cancer and MS. She worked her way up from being a caregiver to getting into the management side of home care working for a Medicare Home Health agency and then BrightStar Care. She feels being a Customer Care Manager is a rewarding role because she’s becomes an extension of families and becomes a part of their family. Kelli is dedicated to providing quality care to our clients as if they are her own family member. Kelli has 2 children a 12-year-old son Jaquarion and 4-year-old daughter Zyambriel. When Kelli has a minute for herself to have fun, she enjoys reading and being outdoors.
