Rampi Hijazin | Owner/Agency Director
As the owner and agency director, Rampi knows and understands the importance of provide top notch customer service and compassionate care to clients, families and business professionals in the community. She recognizes the need for leadership and support for her team and is responsible for the overall operations of the business. Rampi also works closely with individuals in the community and families to help find solutions for their needs.
Rampi has over 20+ years of experience in the senior living industry with her specialty in Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Rampi’s experience in senior living previously was primarily focused in Independent Living, Licensed Assisted Living and Dementia Care residences with her most recent efforts in the home care arena. Starting her career providing caregiving services at the age of 18 while attending college. She has worked her through the organization, learning operations from the ground up. Rampi has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University as well as a Masters of Science in Business Information Technology from Walsh College. Rampi has also attended the Erickson School on Aging Studies’ Executive Education Program with a concentration on Business & Strategy in Senior Housing and Care, Sales & Marketing, Management & Operations and Finance in Senior Housing and Care. She also has her Assisted Living Administrators License for the State of North Carolina.
Rampi has previously been involved with the Alzheimer’s Association's Michigan and North Carolina, the Michigan Assisted Living Association, North Carolina Assisted Living Associations, and the National Private Duty Association. Rampi has enjoyed helping provide quality home care services in the Charlotte area to families and healthcare professionals. Rampi, pre-COVID, volunteered her time as a Dementia Dialogues Trainer in Charlotte community, competencied through the University of South Carolina School on Aging. She also has volunteered as a Alzheimer’s Association local support group facilitator for families.
Lou Hijazin | Owner
Witnessing Rampi’s efforts in the senior living industry for years and also hearing the many stories his own mother shared about her caregiving experiences over the years, gave Lou a new respect for individuals working in the healthcare field. With 15+ years as a small business owner, he knows what it takes to run a good business and the importance of providing good and timely customer service to clients. When the opportunity arose to become a part of BrightStar as the Director of Operations, Lou knew this was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up and eagerly looked forward to the challenges that would come with working in this new industry. He enjoys most being able to help families find a solution to their problems and knowing that the BrightStar team all gave 120% and have the same mission/goals for those that we serve.
Mandy P., | Director of Operations
After obtaining her master's degree in Healthcare Administration, the majority of her 13-year career in healthcare operations has been in Skilled Nursing Care with experience as a hospital department head as well as in Assisted Living. She most recently held a regional role with a National Assisted Living company. In her role, as the Director of Operations, her focus is to promote and grow the business in a way that celebrates the outstanding service of our wonderful caregivers and nurses while being mindful of the needs of our clients. Her goal is to exceed the expectations of our clients with every touch point. It is important to her to listen to the needs of our clients in this ever-changing industry and develop ways to create successful care stories with the modern career needs of our employees.
Jessica C., BS, RN, CCM | Director of Nursing
Jessica joins our team with 9 years of nursing experience focused primarily in critical care and neuro in a hospital setting as well as interventional radiology and case management experience as well. Maria C., | Recruiter/HR
As our recruiter, Maria helps us onboard and find the right team member to support our wonderful clients. She knows and understands how important it is to us, having team members that believe in our agency core values and beliefs. Maria returns to the home health arena after a short break but hasn't lost her touch or compassion for helping others. Maria also has recently relocated to Charlotte from Florida with her beautiful family. Maria and her family are enjoying the wonderful Charlotte nature trails and parks during their free time.
Michelle B. | Customer Care Manager
Michelle's job is to be a liaison between our staffing clients and our staffing employees. We all know how challenging the healthcare field is right now so it’s really important to us to help support our community any way we can. If we can offer quality employment opportunities to individuals and help support healthcare businesses in the community get the staffing support they need, then it’s a win-win situation for all. It’s important to us that we send a good employee match to best support our staffing clients. Michelle welcomes our team to ask questions or to share what additional needs they might have. Michelle will routinely check in with our team members/clients to see how things are going, to make sure placements were a good fit and see how our services are going overall. Michelle loves to do quality visits with our clients and team members.
Dominique "NIkki" M. | Office Administrator
Nikki's job is to assist all of our team members in the office and in the field. She is responsible for working with newly hired team member's onboarding experience and all other administrative responsiblities for the office. Nikki loves to help others and is a Medical Assistant by schooling. She knows the importance of providing our clients and team members with quality and timely assistance. Nikki is looking forward to working to make sure everyone's needs are met. Nikki is excited to be a new mother as she prepares to welcome her first baby in June 2022.
