Meet Our Staff
Meet Glenny Harrington, Administrator
Glenny is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry, as well as a Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Interact Instructor, and has a BS in Health Administration. A native of the Hampton Roads area, she has devoted her career to helping others, and is passionate about improving quality care and services in healthcare. Glenny is an experienced speaker, presenting at symposiums and workshops, where she helps to train and educate healthcare professionals. In her spare time, Glenny enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, exercise, and golf.
Meet Peggy Clarke, Office Manager
A native of Hampton Roads, Peggy has been in the home care industry since 1993. She has worked with just about every aspect of home care, from Private Duty to Medicare/Medicaid, to insurance and staffing. She has held positions as Staffing Coordinator, Human Resource Coordinator & Recruiter, and Office Manager for several agencies in this area and feels that there is nowhere else she would rather work than with people who need help and people who want to help others. Matching clients with just the right caregiver is a truly rewarding and satisfying endeavor. As the mother of three and the grandmother of five, Peggy’s favorite pastime is spending time with her family.
Meet Diane Perrot, Community Liaison
Diane Perrot brings close to 30 years of Health Care experience working in the Hampton Roads area. A social worker by background, she has a passion for serving our clients and their family’s comprehensive needs. Her experience includes acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, home health, and hospice, as well as a Quality Assurance surveyor for the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services. Diane actively serves the community-specifically with The Social Work Assistance Services, and various city Task Force Groups on Aging. A graduate from Virginia Wesleyan College, Diane currently resides in Chesapeake. She has two sons-Nick, a lacrosse player attending Coker College in South Carolina, and Andrew, an avid musician attending Great Bridge Middle. Diane is one of Brightstar’s community liaisons, and available to assist with identifying your family’s care transition needs, as well as facilitating resources to ensure comprehensive and quality care.

Hirschbiel, took a bad fall and broke her “good” leg in May of 2010, it quickly became clear that she would be unable to return to her apartment in the independent living section at Westminster Canterbury, and would be moving permanently to the “skilled nursing” area. Always fiercely self-reliant and strong-minded, Mom was frustrated and frightened that she was no longer ambulatory, and needed – for the first time in her life – to totally depend on others to help her. Although the care at WC is excellent, the staff can only do so much serving multiple residents, and mom’s health – mental and physical – began to decline significantly.
