Bailie Dawson, CNA Recruitment Manager

How long have you been a CNA?
I have been a CNA for 5 years. I began work in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Idaho where I graduated from University of Idaho with a BA in English. In 2014 I moved to California and joined the home health community and have loved working in home health ever since.
What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?
I have been driven to be in the healthcare field from an early age. My interest began with animals but quickly turned to people when I began attending the Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School where I was able to get EMT training, become of certified lifeguard, and become a CPR instructor. When I became and CNA in 2012 I fell in love with nursing, a love that has only grown with time and experience. As a CNA I bring an important perspective to the recruiting process that creates a hiring environment conducive to providing the best possible care to our clients.

Jennifer Fulgentis, Director of Community Relations

How long have you been Director Community Relations?
I have been The Director of Community Relations for BrightStar Conejo Valley for the past 3 years.
What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?
I received my Bachelor of Science from Cal State Hayward in 1994.  After I graduated from college I was a successful Medical Sales Rep for BEI Medical. I sold surgical instruments to Hospitals and Physicians in the OB/GYN Industry. After 2 years of medical sales I got married, raised two beautiful daughters and worked for Recentis our family owned Re-Insurance Company. After our office closed I joined PurePayments and sold credit card processing services. Shortly after joining PurePayments my Mother became ill, so I worked part-time and started caring for my mother. It became clear to me when I was caring for my mother that I had a passion for working with Seniors. Soon after that I joined BrightStar and my journey to helping Seniors began.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
The most enjoyable part of my job is going to the families house for the initial meeting. I love to sit with them and listen to their stories and needs. I do my best to make them feel comfortable and reassure them that I have the staff that can give them the help they need. I always try to be relatable and tell them the story about my journey caring for my aging mother. I’m grateful for my job at BrightStar because I get to help people in need and make a difference in peoples lives.

I am Making More Possible for our BrightStar Care clients by…
providing compassionate, friendly and caring staff members. I want our clients to be 100% satisfied and tell their friends and family about BrightStar.
