Alison Richardson | Owner
Alison Richardson, MS, has a Masters in Human Development, along with experience in business and trial consulting. Alison is active in the community as a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association, and she also serves on the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Senior Service Alliance Steering Committee. She selected home care as her encore career because she wanted to work with purpose and help make the world a better place with her efforts. As she searched for the best home care business, she was attracted to several things about BrightStar Care.
Lydia Paraskevas | Director of Nursing
Lydia has been a registered nurse for almost 33 years, working entirely in the Dallas area. She graduated from University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Lydia has worked as a hands-on nurse her entire career in nursing. She started out as a caregiver working in home health while working her way through nursing school. The majority of her nursing career has been spent in pediatric nursing (general medical surgical, gastroenterology, and also Hematology/Oncology Infusion). She has served on committees for prevention of infections, particularly for patients who are immunocompromised and have central line IV access catheters, implanted ports, and PICC lines. She has extensive experience with infusion therapy as well as chemotherapy administration. She has received several excellence in nursing awards, specifically from Baylor University Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
Angela Haynes | Client Care Manager
Angela has been with BrightStar care of Frisco/Carrollton since January 2017. She has 9 years of experience with Senior &Dementia care as well as experience in care for Parkinson’s, ALS clients, Dialysis, partially paralyzed and Hospice clients. She has 12 years of childcare experience as well, including care of cerebral palsy & autistic children. She is currently pursuing her degree in, Associate of Arts in Applied Science of Nursing (RN). She has recently been nominated for caregiver of the year this past Fall 2018, for her passionate care for our clients.
Outside of her career with BrightStar, Angela enjoys teaching Sunday school to pre-school age children at her church. She enjoys spending time with her two children, husband and family. She loves experiencing new things in life. In fact, she is an American Citizen, but she grew up in Ireland. She speaks, English, partial Gaelic, French & German. She loves to draw art, listen to music and sing. She loves to find ways to serve the community when she can, such as fundraising for Alzheimer’s. She loves meeting new people and helping others with her Servant gift.
