Alison Richardson | Owner

Untitled-design-(15).pngAlison Richardson, MS, has a Masters in Human Development, along with experience in business and trial consulting. Alison is active in the community as a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association, and she also serves on the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Senior Service Alliance Steering Committee. She selected home care as her encore career because she wanted to work with purpose and help make the world a better place with her efforts. As she searched for the best home care business, she was attracted to several things about BrightStar Care.

Ashlie Bridegum | Branch Manager

Untitled-design-(12).pngAshlie Bridegum, MHS is the Branch Manager at BrightStar Care of Frisco and Carrollton. Ashlie enjoys helping others during difficult times in their lives and home health allows her passion to be possible. In addition to managing office administration, Ashlie was a dental assistant for sixteen years where she worked with patients in low income communities and volunteered through outreach opportunities. Ashlie holds a Master's Degree in Health Science and a Bachler's in Science with an emphasis in Health Education from Texas Woman's University. At BrightStar Care, Ashlie coordinates office productivity through billing and payroll, leads the home health caregiver team, trains all new staff members, and develops effective strategies to protect the homebound customers.

Whitney Green | Customer Care Manager

Untitled-design-(11).pngWhitney Green has a degree in Psychology and is currently working on her MS in Mental Health Counseling. In her spare time, she volunteers at her local Ronald McDonald House, cooking meals for families in need. Whitney chose to work in home health care as a way to give back to her community. She values each client and caregiver as our customer care manager and is in charge of scheduling home health care clients. 


Marla Grant | Director of Nursing

Untitled-design-(4).png Marla has been a nurse for over 12 years including hospitals and home care, serving as an infusion skills instructor, and also receiving her certification in chemotherapy. Marla also has wound care and wound vac experience, and recently received the Clinical Excellence Award: Advance Practice Support of Clinical Nursing from THR – HEB in May of 2021. We are pleased and excited to have Marla lead our clinical team at this time.

Cindy Mitchell | Director of Business Development

Her role as Director of Business Development allows her to develop new business opportunities for BrightStar Care. She also nurtures relationships with relevant business partners in the industry.  Nothing makes Cindy happier than helping families find alternative care solutions for their loved ones and identify valuable resources for them during some challenging and overwhelming times. Cindy is proud to work with the BrightStar Care team in accomplishing these goals. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, volunteering in the community and nurturing her garden.
