Senior Health Fair – September 26
Join BrightStar Care of Central DuPage at the upcoming Senior Health Fair on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM–1 PM at the York Center Park District in Lombard, IL. This free community event is hosted by Representatives Diane Blair-Sherlock, Marti Deuter, and Margaret DeLaRosa, along with Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton, and will feature a variety of valuable resources and information for seniors and their families.

Ribbon Cutting – October 1
Join BrightStar Care of Central DuPage for our Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Thursday, October 1 from 4:00-6:00 PM at our new Bloomingdale, IL office. Help us welcome Mayor & Village President Franco A. Coladipietro and the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, enjoy food, refreshments and cookies from Jaroch’s Bakery, tour our new office, and meet our team and community partners. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 4:15 PM.

41st Annual Wheaton Leadership Prayer Breakfast
On September 9th, 2026, Leonard Sanchez, Owner, COO, and Director of Business Development at BrightStar Care of Central DuPage, attended the 41st Annual Wheaton Leadership Prayer Breakfast in Glen Ellyn.
The annual gathering brings together local business professionals, civic leaders, and members of the faith community to encourage one another and lift up those serving in positions of leadership. This year’s special Patriot Day breakfast also honored the 25th anniversary of September 11, reflecting on the importance of faith, unity, strength, and servant leadership during times of adversity.
BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is proud to be part of a community that comes together to support one another and recognize those who lead and serve. Thank you to the Wheaton Leadership Prayer Breakfast for bringing our community together for such a meaningful morning.
Wood Dale Community Connections & Medicare GUIDE Program Presentation
Leonard recently visited one of our local park districts at the beginning of September, to enjoy an afternoon of bingo, pizza, and September birthday celebrations, sponsored by BrightStar Care of Central DuPage. While there, he connected with residents and shared information about GUIDE, a Medicare benefit program for eligible individuals living at home with dementia.
Eligible participants may receive up to 72 hours of respite care each year at no out-of-pocket cost for the covered respite benefit, providing family caregivers with a much-needed break while their loved one continues receiving support at home. We’re proud to be part of our local community, celebrating milestones, building connections, and sharing resources that can support local families.

2026 DuPage Veterans Resource Fair
On August 25, 2026, Sabrina and Leonard were proud to represent BrightStar Care of Central DuPage at the 2026 Veterans Resource Fair in Wheaton.
They connected with more than 60 veteran-focused organizations and spoke with veterans and their families about available resources, including VA Home Care benefits for veterans and eligible spouses. We’re honored to support our local veteran community and help families connect with care resources that can make a difference.
