I have been fully disabled for just over 7 years now, following a catastrophic accident I was in. During these last 7 years, I have worked with several different home Aid agencies and have been able to “learn the game” if you know what I mean. For example, I had one aid a while back, who was tremendous, but the support that the agency gave the aid was awful, so it inevitably made the overall experience not good anymore. On top of that, I have also had several aids sent to me from other agencies. Some of these people have had no business being sent to a patients home as an aid. Anyway, I have said all that to say this. I am currently working with BrightStar Homecare. With all my experience
1.) I could not be happier with the agency! They are extremely responsive and whenever I need them, their customer service is fantastic!
2.) just to make sure I’m very happy with the service, they dispach a manager named Amanda every month, to just show up and make sure that everything which is supposed to get done is getting done! Amanda is sweet and kind and very easy to talk too. She is a real gem for this industry!!
3.) My Aid, Tahzay is by far the best aid I have had in all the years I have been disabled at, as I call him, you can tell loves what he does for a living. For T, this is a calling, not just a job. On top of all the help he gives me with keeping my living spaces neat and clean he is also a chief and a great on at that. Every day my kid and I have a wonderful home cooked meal to wrap up the day. If you’re on the fence about if you want to continue using your agency or to try a new one, then the answer is simple. Call BrightStar and schedule for Amanda to come visit yiu

One last thing on great customer service. The owner of BrightStar is a man named Bob. In the business world, Bob is a well known person. The reason he started BrightStar was because his mom needed care. Like me, he went through several agencies and care attendants hoping to find that one person who would treat his mom with the same amount of Love, compassion and patience any family member would treat his mom with. Well, he quickly found out, just like me, that he was reaching for the stars and there just was not that level of care available out there from any agency. So, having the business acumen that Bob has, he decided to go ahead and start BrightStar. His concept was really quite simple. Treat every single employee with the same amount of love, care and patience that he wanted his employees to treat to treat BrightStar’s customers with. He starts every new employee with that same sense of family and that as long as we work together, he will always have their back just the same way a real care attendant always has the back of the person they work with.
Anyway, one day I felt like I just had to let Bob know how happy I was with the attendant they had paired me with. Thinking there was no way I’d get him on the phone, but maybe I could gain his email address to send him my gratitude via email. Well, I called the office and explained that I wanted to let him know how happy I was with my new Aid, and wouldn’t you know, they transferred me to Bob’s voicemail immediately. I left a brief message praising his people and explaining a bit of my story. Well, wouldn’t you know he called me back in a matter of minutes after I left him a message! He stayed on the phone with me that day for about 45 minutes. For such a busy guy running a large Homecare agency, I thought that was incredible!!!!
I cannot recommend this team of people enough. I don’t have the vocabulary to do justice for how grateful I am that Bob, Amanda and their team lead such an incredible group of Homecare Aids that truly become part of your family! Like I said, Call there today and Amanda will come visit you personally and start the matching process to find the right person to work with you. I promise it will be the best hour you ever invested in your own personal care.
Our family has had a wonderful experience with BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County. The care manager and nurse took the time to truly understand our family member’s needs and carefully matched us with companions who were an excellent fit.
Any time we had a question or concern, it was addressed quickly and professionally. Their responsiveness and commitment to quality care really stood out. We are very grateful for their support and would highly recommend BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County to other families looking for compassionate care coordinated by individuals who care.

Bob and his entire team are unmatched in service, out of the box solutions, and response. I’ve been working with agencies as an end user for 19 years. I’m also a nurse of 30 years. Never have I ever worked with a more professional and compassionate team of caregivers and support staff. Quality, competence, and safety are number one with his team.

Bright Star staff went above and beyond with my aunt's care. The owner Bob and his category coordinators kept us informed, they were creative in ways to engage our aunt with dementia and treated her with great respect. Bob is running a great organization.
