Veterans Care

Serving Those Who Served: Veterans Care:

At BrightStar Care, we respect and appreciate the brave individuals who have served our country. As a leading provider of in-home care services, we are honored to extend support to veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Compassionate Care Altered to Veterans’ Needs:

We understand that veterans may face unique challenges as they age, including physical limitations, chronic health conditions, and mental health struggles. That’s why we offer specialized in-home care services tailored to meet the specific needs of veterans.

Our team of dedicated caregivers is trained to provide personalized care, assistance, and companionship to veterans. Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, managing medical conditions, or offering support, we are here to support our nation’s heroes every step of the way.

Respite Care for Veterans:

Many veterans have the benefit of a family caregiver who provides daily support and companionship. However, family caregivers can get burnt out if they fail to take time for themselves. If you're feeling exhausted after caring for a loved one, be sure to look into respite care. This form of care allows caregivers to take a break from their responsibilities without leaving their loved ones without assistance. Respite care for veterans works in conjunction with family caregivers to offer the highest standard of care possible.

Veterans Benefits for Home Care Services:

  • VACCN (Community Care Network) - The VA Community Care Network (CCN) is the VA’s direct link with community providers to ensure Veterans receive timely, high-quality home care. BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County is a provider and 100% of the approved hours are paid by the VA. Call us today and we can assist with the process. Additional information can be found on the community care website at: https://www.va.gov/communitycare
  • VA Aide & Attendance Program - This program is a pension-based payment for veterans who will require care either at home or in a facility and provides the participant with an annual amount of money paid monthly that can be used for those services. The reimbursement range for direct veterans is between $24K to $29K per year. Additional information can be found on the veteran care website at: https://veterancareservices.com/
