Las Vegas Voters View Health Care As Their Number One Concern

(KLAS) 8 News Now Caroline Bleakley reports that an Emerson College poll puts Health Care as the top issue for Nevadans surveyed.

According to the Emerson College report, "27.7% said health care was the single most important issue in deciding what candidate will get their vote." Next to rank on the poll was the environment at 22%, and then the economy with 19.3% of the vote for top state voter issue.

Interestingly, the data showed seniors are the most concerned about health care, followed by the environment, where people 30 to 49 years old are most concerned with the economy.

The report showed that for ethnicity, Caucasians, Asians, African Americans, and other races are all most concerned about health care, while only Hispanic/Latinos are most worried about the economy.
