  • Bruno & Olivia Ferrari

    Owners & CEO

To our valued clients — thank you for trusting us with your care and welcoming us into your home and lives. We are honored to support you and your loved ones with what we call a higher standard of care.

This business is deeply personal to us. My wife Olivia and I are proud parents of four children, and our shared experience of having grandparents live at home shaped how we understand care and dignity. It began with Olivia’s work as a care staff — she founded and operated Joyfully Giving, providing hands-on care for elderly clients. I bring a background in business operations and human resources, having served as Chief People Officer for a middle-market manufacturer where I led recruiting and training as the company scaled from 500 to 1,000 employees. Together, that mix of personal experience and professional expertise led us to partner with BrightStar Care.

At the heart of our work is a belief that every person possesses inherent worth and deserves care that honors body, mind, and spirit. We live this out through five core values:

    • Family Spirit — treating others with the love and care we give our own family.
    • Spirit of Excellence — being reliable and proactive — noticing our clients’ needs before they have to ask.
    • Joyful Presence — bringing a smile and a cheerful, uplifting mood to every visit.
    • Commitment to Growth — helping each client maintain and increase their independence.
    • Authenticity — forming real, lasting bonds with the people we care for.

  • Skyla Ramos, BSN, RN

    Director of Nursing

Skyla brings five years of clinical nursing experience across home health, long-term care, short-term rehab, psychiatric, and addiction medicine. She earned her ADN through Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and her BSN through Capella University. As Director of Nursing, she oversees daily clinical operations, supports our nurses and care staff, and ensures all care meets state and federal compliance standards — working closely with clients and families to promote positive outcomes and continuity of care in the home.

What she is most passionate about: “It is a privilege to meet families and support their loved ones. I love aligning our care team and preparing them to meet new clients, and building the plan of care together — understanding deeply what each client needs and how we can deliver the higher standard of care that sets us apart.” The strengths Skyla brings to every client reflect this: a relentless focus on client safety, grounded in attention to detail and our core value of excellence; clear, comprehensive communication across staff and families so individualized needs are met; and the ability to adapt quickly as a client’s care needs evolve.

  • Injal Patel

    Client Care Manager

Injal Patel is the Client Care Manager at BrightStar Care of Needham/Brookline. Her career began as a patient care technician before she moved into care management, so she understands firsthand what it is like to be at a client’s side. A background in psychology shapes how she approaches care coordination — really listening to what each client and family needs, not just what is on the chart. Outside of work, family means everything, and that same commitment carries into every client she supports.
