Why CNA Training is Important
Certified Nurse Assistants are always in demand, and as the need for healthcare jobs grow, so will the need for highly motivated, well-educated CNAs. In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment for CNAs will grow by more than 11 percent between 2016 and 2025, which means adding more than 2.4 million new CNA jobs to the market. The Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program at College of DuPage uses a combination of classroom and clinical education to prepare students to become CNAs, providing excellent patient care to patients in Illinois. For those wishing to go further, CNA training provides an excellent foundation for continued education and a career in nursing. College DuPage is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is the largest public community college in the state of Illinois.Topics
This year’s symposium will offer a variety of topics, including:- Dementia care
- Palliative care
