Our Staff at BrightStar Care® West Lake County

Tracy was drawn to the home care industry by seeing a need in people close to him and how hard it was to find quality care. He found by having loved ones in a situation needing home care services, how important it is to be able to trust and depend on a company with great credentials and a broad spectrum of care. He realized BrightStar Care fit that mold and was drawn to the franchise and their high standards. Prior to becoming the owner of BrightStar Care of East Lake County and West Lake County, Tracy worked for 17 years as a manager at a prominent car dealership in Merrillville, Indiana. The gratification of helping people while providing excellent customer service has been the most rewarding work experience that Tracy has encountered in his career. It is his pleasure to serve Lake County, Indiana residents and families as he would want his own family to be treated.  

Brooke has been with BrightStar for 11 years, and brings a background of client care and customer service to her position. As an experienced Certified Nursing Aide and Home Health Aide, Brooke understands firsthand the personal care needs of our clients and their families. Brooke's prior experience as a Unit Manager at a Skilled Nursing Facility and as a Pharmacy Technician also allows her to bring an overall healthcare perspective to the great care and service we are constantly striving to deliver. Brooke is a valued member of the BrightStar leadership team working directly with the staff, clients and vendors staff to deliver excellent care and excellent service for our clients. Our clients and caregivers alike appreciate Brooke's friendly and professional approach to her work. 

Kelly started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant while in nursing school for her RN. She received her RN in 2013, and has 10 years of hospital experience in the Intermediate Care Unit. Kelly has also served as a Clinical Nurse Leader for 3 years at a local hospital. Most recently, she obtained her MSN in Nursing Education in 2018.

Angela has been an RN for 23 years. She spent 16 years in a hospital setting, and made the switch to home care in 2015. Angela lives with her husband and 2 children and enjoys camping and traveling in her free time. 

Erica graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Communications Radio/TV in 2002. She joins the BrightStar Care team most recently from the Elementary Special Education classroom setting. Erica has worked as a Community Manager for a popular review website, in Promotions for a Chicago radio station, as a Family Recruiter for a foster care agency, and even owned her own small business for 6 years. Erica's experience as a special needs parent, and with both the special needs and foster care communities, allow her to bring excellent care and added perspective to the table. Erica, her husband, and two sons live here in Highland. She is a self-proclaimed 'Disney Adult' and spends all her free-time at the parks.

Kaye is an IUN graduate and comes to BrightStar Care with over 10 years of experience in the K-12 school setting. Most recently, she worked as the Client Care Manager here at BrightStar Care. Prior to coming to work with us, Kaye was the Family and Community Coordinator as well as the Director of Youth Services for a local school. Kaye is a mother of 4 and grandmother to 3. Meeting and assisting new people is a passion of hers. Helping others is very rewarding to her, whether finding employment or services to improve lives. 

Andrea loves interacting with our BrightStar clients and caregivers and building new relationships. She has an extensive background in both sales and customer service. Before coming to work for BrightStar she was the Team Lead for 6 years in Internet Sales at a local car dealership.
