At BrightStar Care of S. San Fernando Valley, We Serve with Passion, Do the Right Thing and Make it Great
John Mason, President/Owner
After graduating from college and spending a short time in physical therapy, I got a job in the pharmaceutical industry. A 20-year career followed, with experience in sales, training, marketing, and sales management. I found I had moved a long way from caring for patients - my original reason for pursuing a career in healthcare. I combined my passion for patient care and knowledge of the medical industry and became a BrightStar owner. Now I am delivering on the promise I made to myself many years ago — to help people. I live in Sherman Oaks, with my wonderful wife Evelyn and two beautiful daughters, Mia and Sarah.
Veronica Garcia, Manager of Operations
I have worked in staffing and customer service for many years. The combination of good people with good processes is my passion, and I work to achieve that combination every day. Whether I’m helping a client or one of our staff, I always put the customer first.
Krystle Czerw, RN, Director of Nursing
My nursing career started in Phoenix, AZ on the cardiac unit where I continued to progress my knowledge and gain experience in the clinical setting at the Mayo Clinic. About four years ago I moved to Los Angeles, which allowed me to explore new career opportunities. I then chose to advance my nursing scope by shifting my career from the acute hospital setting to home care. While here in L.A., I spent most of my time working in home health and specializing in IV therapy.
I am most passionate about preventative care. My nursing career has shown me
that preventative care is the most critical to your overall health and
independence. "A successful therapy requires harmony of the physical and
psychological functions in order to achieve a restoration of the body in its
entirety." -Max Gerson M.D. My emphasis focuses on educating patients/ families
on a holistic level to prevent injury, disease, and disability and promote
awareness and well-being.
Mary Vidal, Customer Care Manager
My passion for helping people and making a difference brought me to Brightstar. I work to bring that passion every day to each person we help, and am proud of the service we provide.
Elisha Marine, Staffing Coordinator
I have worked in health care for over 14 years and have a true passion for helping others. Brightstar helps me fulfill my passion in providing the highest standard of care to each person. I am committed to helping our clients and staff to ensure they receive the assistance they need.
