People need different types of care throughout their life — not just when they’re seniors. BrightStar Care® provides a wide range of in-home and residential care options to meet your loved one’s temporary or long-term care needs.
Duration of Care
Whether you or a loved one have a chronic condition, short-term disability or temporary need for in-home support, BrightStar Care can provide assistance for any length of time, including respite care up to 24/7 hourly.
When a family caregiver needs someone to sit with their loved one or assist with daily activities so they can tend to other responsibilities, our staff can provide the right level of care on an hourly basis. This respite or ad hoc care is also available for other short-term or intermittent in-home care needs.
BrightStar Care also supports individuals who have recently been discharged from the hospital, are transitioning home from a skilled nursing facility or are learning to use new equipment such as a home infusion pump, walker or Hoyer lift (to assist with safe transfers).
Types of In-Home Care
As your loved one’s needs change, the service we offer evolves along with them. Companion Care provides basic support such as light housekeeping, transportation to and from appointments, and spending time with your loved one at home. We can also provide kindhearted, experienced Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care staff who have been trained to understand and manage dementia-specific behaviors.
Our Personal Care services include assistance with feeding, bathing, mobility and other tasks that your loved one is no longer able to completely do for themselves on a consistent basis, while Skilled Nursing Care provides support for more complex medical needs such as in-home infusions and wound care. Some of our agencies also offer In-Home Therapy that includes occupational, physical and speech therapy.
Types of Residential Care
In addition to providing in-home care for seniors and adults of all ages, we also offer Assisted Living and Memory Care in a variety of safe and appealing communities and homes through BrightStar® Senior Living and BrightStar® Care Homes (where available). Each of these residential senior care options meet different needs, ranging from Companion Care to Skilled Nursing.
Choosing Well for Those You Love
When you or a family member needs care, ranging from companion care to skilled nursing, we are here to help. Our nurse-led care can be provided on a short-term basis or for an extended duration — in the comfort of your home or in one of our lovely residential settings.
