Frank has been such a blessing! He truly cares and helps out my dad (and mom) in so many ways. If it were up to us, we would ask if Frank could be there daily. Dad hasn't yet accepted that he needs the amount of support that he does. But Frank is a pro and Dad is accepting of his approach. Not an easy task! Now Dad says, "Only if its Frank". Each time Frank is there I can step away without worry. I almost forgot what that feeling was like.

We contacted Brightstar on the recommendation of a friend and found it was listed in the places recommended by ‘Care Scouts’ for Genworth long term care insurance. Initially , we had an aide just one afternoon a week, with whom we are very satisfied. I have a progressive muscle disorder and need a lot of help with the activities of daily living g. My wife is my primary caregiver. On May 14, my wife tripped and fell and fractured her hip. We immediately called Brightstar to increase my care. Brightstar reacted very quickly and managed to set up 6 mornings a week and 4 evenings to send aides to care for me. All of the aides were punctual, friendly, and knew what to do. They need to use a sit-to-stand lift to transfer me from seat to seat and into bed at night. If they didn’t know how to use it I before they got here, they learned very quickly. If we need a schedule change, Brightstar does its best to accommodate our needs. We are more than satisfied with Brightstar and would recommend this service to anyone. The aides that deserve mention are Kim, Henry, Jinnah, Rashonda., and Osmon. They do whatever we ask, including cleaning up our kitchen, and, of course, personal care….. all with a smile! Thank you. Caregiver Genefia is fantastic, especially for an elderly person who wants a live-in who is not only helpful but also very personable. Gen treats elderly people like human beings, not patients. She has an amazing ability to understand people and care for them in a non-clinical manner. She manages to do this while also being very professional and reliable.
