BrightStar Care of Carlsbad pays caregivers and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) between $20-$24 per hour. We also offer cash bonus opportunities, excellent benefits, and a generous rewards and recognition program called “Reaching For The Stars.”

Yes, our caregivers in North County San Diego do per diem work, meaning you can choose to accept or decline shift offers to suit your lifestyle. We also have job opportunities for caregivers looking for part-time or full-time schedules.

Non-medical caregivers working with BrightStar Care of Carlsbad need to register on California’s Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry. We do require at least a year of professional caregiving experience, passing a background check, a clean tuberculosis (TB) test, and CPR certification for all in-home caregivers.

Yes, we love caregivers from military families, and we have a hiring program for military spouses in and around Oceanside, Vista, La Costa, Ocean Hills, Bonsall, Fallbrook, and Camp Pendleton. We will consider caregiver applications for military spouses, even if you have no experience.
