BrightStar Care of Honolulu is family owned and operated, and we serve all of Oahu. We're one of the few Oahu agencies licensed by the State of Hawaii as both a home care agency and a home health agency. In plain terms, one team stays with your family as needs change, from a few hours of help a week to nursing care at home, without starting over with a new agency. A Registered Nurse case manager gets to know every client, builds the plan of care, and supervises the caregivers who carry it out. Most of what sends kupuna back to the hospital can be caught early at home, and our goal for every client is to stay safe at home and out of the emergency room.

We're accredited by The Joint Commission, the same organization that accredits Hawaii's hospitals. We work with families who pay privately and with long-term care insurance, and our team can help you understand your policy and streamline the claim submissions. Someone in our office answers the phone 24 hours a day, and we're glad to talk even if you're not sure yet what you need.
